Decoding
Continuous, seamless, back-to-back playback of multiple MPEG streams. You can mix-and-match any valid MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 stream format (transport, program, system, or elementary streams).
Frame-accurate synchronized playback across multiple decoders in a system.
Begin playback of a stream at any I-Frame.
Decoding of streams up to 50Mbps with 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 chroma formats.
Hardware synchronization of audio and video timing
Audio
Decoding and uncompressed output of MPEG-1 Layer 1, 2, and 3 audio formats.
Output of uncompressed audio formats including WAV, AIFF, and SMPTE302.
Compressed output of MPEG, AC3 and AAC audio formats for playback on an external decoder.
Video Output
Display of still pictures from bitmap files with transitions and simultaneous audio decoding.
True-color graphics overlay with keying and 64 levels of blendingor shading.
Digital control of video saturation, brightness, contrast, gamma and hue.
Support for ATSC and some proprietary closed-captioning formats.
Insertion of vertical interval timecode (VITC).
Display of the output video on the PC monitor.
Control
All features are available to your application using the Stradis Decoder API available as part of the Stradis Developer Program.
